Description
Gnocchi are soft dumplings that cook in just 3 minutes. Once cooked, they are often fried in butter to give a crispy coating and served with grated cheese. The origin of the name is unknown but there are many fables, each differs, but many describe how a tree offered it’s knots (‘node’ in Italian) to a women who cooked them and they magically turned into soft dumplings.Ingredients
Potato Flakes (79%) (Sulphites), Potato Starch (7%), Modified Starch (1412), Semolina, Wheat Flour, Salt, Food Acid (Citric).
Usage Instructions
Add Gnocchi to 3-4 litres of boiling water with salt to taste. Stir gently, then boil for 3 minutes or until the Gnocchi float to the surface. Drain and serve. If frozen, fully thaw Gnocchi in the refrigerator and cook Gnocchi as per above cooking instructions
Storage Instructions
Keep refrigerated at or below 4°C. Product may be frozen.
